Technology really helps students these days. It helps the student research for their paper. It also helps people practice their writing skills. Good writing is a very important to your future if you want to be successful. Teens are motivated to do better if they have an interesting topic to write about. It is also saying that the internet is the number one primary source to use when writing a paper. They mention in the article that text messaging and communication over the internet is not in any way writing. In my mind i think it is because you are still writing but you are typing it out. It is just like writing a paper then getting on your lap top and writing it out. There is not a lot of differences to it. I mean i can see where there is a difference but it basically the same thing. Text messaging, i guess, has its own language. People have came up with different abbriviations for different words, such as you is "u" and to, too, and two is "2". That is where the author of the article is saying text messaging and internet communication is different. Students who learn how to write better in school, it will have a major improvement on future writing and will be extremely benefit anyone in their future.
